FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method of purification consists in the fact that air duct with closed end is installed in gas trap with windows and at least one quarter-wave-length resonator, trap is inbuilt to the end of exhaust pipe, gas flow is distributed with particles from exhaust pipe into gas trap air duct cavity, coagulation of particles is carried out from gas flow in stagnant sound wave generated in air duct, afterwards coagulated particles are deposited in internal cavity of quarter-wave-length resonator, and gas flow cleaned from particles and reflected from closed end of air duct is exhausted through windows of gas trap.
EFFECT: improved ecological protection against emissions of particles contained in automobile exhaust gases in case of incomplete burning of petrol to atmosphere.
