FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to ignition system of internal combustion engine. Sensor of angular position and rotation frequency of cam shaft comprises set of Hall sensors and magnetic rotor. Set of Hall sensors is made of non-magnetic material and is fixed on cover of ignition distributor. Hall sensors are installed in set serially in row along shaft axis. Magnetic rotor has alternating magnet poles to measure angular position and rotation frequency of cam shaft. Magnet rotor is arranged in the form of upper and lower magnetic conductors, annular permanent magnet, non-magnet fixing bush and phase setter. Annular permanent magnet is magnetised in axial direction. Non-magnet fixing bush connects elements of magnet rotor as a whole. Phase setter is made of non-magnet body. There are magnetised permanent magnets fixed in body of phase setter. Permanent magnets of phase setter form combination code of cylinders group at their appropriate Hall sensors for spark distribution into required group of cylinders. Phase setter is fixed on ignition distributor shaft by means of insertion of centrifugal weight axis into appropriate opening or slot in body. It is possible to set a single permanent magnet for synchronisation in phase setter. Group of cylinders for ignition with single magnet installed is identified by calculation of period from synchronisation moment.

EFFECT: creation of cheap reliable sensor for breakerless ignition system.
