FIELD: ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition to be fired from ship-based grenade-launcher systems. Proposed device comprises the casing, fuse, igniter-burster charge (IBC) and signal device comprising positive-buoyancy material casing and pyrotechnical flare. Note here that IBC represents a circular powder tablet attached on the side of fuse with the help of the plug. Cup bottom comprises fore-transmitting orifices arranged regularly along the circumference. The signal device casing is lined with heat-proof covering. Circular lengthwise slots are made on the cup outer cylindrical surface to accommodate separating inserts that extends above the signal device casing OD and are pressed into ammunition casing.
EFFECT: higher reliability, increased range of vision and time of illumination.
