FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to signal ammunition intended for firing from marine grenade launcher systems. Marine signaling ammunition comprises a fuse and a housing in the form of a shell and a bottom with an inner cavity, inside which there is an assembly of an ignition-expelling charge with a circular powder pellet, signaling device comprising a cylinder-conic body in the form of a shell of material with positive buoyancy and a pyrotechnical flame, and a spring. Shell and the bottom are interconnected by means of a short thread. Unit of the ignition-expelling charge is made in the form of two trays stacked together, on the ends of which at the contact point radial slots are radially made, and at the bottom of the trays there are through fire-transfer holes. In the tray on the fuse side one central hole is made, and in the tray on the side of the signal device there are two symmetrically arranged holes relative to the axis. Trays are installed inside the shell, at that the tray with two holes is borne against the front end of the cylindrical ledge of the ammunition body bottom. Annular powder pellet is fixed inside ring with end projections, which, in its turn, is arranged inside folded trays.

EFFECT: invention allows improving the ammunition action reliability due to the fail-safe and safe emission of the signal device from the ammunition housing, guaranteed ignition of pyrotechnical composition of the torch inside the housing before separation and non-extinguishing of pyrotechnic composition of the flame both at the moment of body separation, and at the moment of surfacing of the signal device to the water surface.
