FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention serves to protect contact plates against overvoltage. Proposed device comprises a magazine with electric contact elements to be connected to the contact plate and to sectionalise appropriate current circuit. It comprises also grounding bus or terminal. Aforesaid magazine comprises detachable part and housing to accommodate protection elements, the detachable part interacting with the contact plate. Visible top part of the said magazine, when plugged in, feature accessible contact pins plugged in the contact plate. First overvoltage protection elements seat nearby and sideways the magazine pin contacts. There is a contact bow arranged between detachable part contact elements and first overvoltage protection elements.
EFFECT: interconnection or measurement without detaching overvoltage protection devices.
