FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: main cross has cut-out unit and cut-out connector. Cut-out unit incorporates emergency circuit breaker operating upon occurrence of overcurrents or short circuits; use is made of fast-response overcurrent protective gear. After cut-out unit was plugged in cut-out connector, sufficient space remained to insert cut-out plug meant for opening internal and external lines and on/off testing of these lines as well as for on-line cutting-in of jumpers.
