FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to systems of conditioning and cleaning of steam and gas flows and may be used in industries, where thorough cleaning of gases from solid and liquid aerosol particles is required. Moisture separator comprises body with channels for passage of gas, condensate collector, bottom. Body is arranged in the form of hollow cone with ratio of diametre d to its height h within the limits of d=(0.3-0.5)h. Perforated pipe is installed inside body for supply of cleaned flow inside body. Body cavity, starting from cone top, is separated in height by radial partitions into three parts as per the following ratio - (0.1-0.25)/(0.25-0.4)/(0.35-0.5)h. Upper partition is arranged as perforated with solid central part installed in perforated pipe, lower one is arranged as solid. Mesh cylinders are installed between partitions, having diametre less or equal to diametre of base of partition installed above. Condensate collector is installed under cone body and communicates to pipe cavity. Area of solid central part of perforated partition makes f=(0.15-0.25)F, where F is total area of perforated partition.
EFFECT: complete separation of condensate and mechanical admixtures from cleaned condensate-containing gas.
