FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: moisture separator represents a hollow cone casing with the diameter-to-height ration making nearby d=(0.3-0.5)h, where d is the cone base diameter and h is the cone height. A perforated pipe is arranged inside the casing to feed the low to be processed there inside. The casing inner space, starting from the cone apex, is divided, along its height, by radial partitions into three parts in the following ratio, i.e. (0.1-0.25)/(0.25-0.4)/(0.35-0.5)h. Here note that one of the partition is made perforated, the other one being solid. Screen cylinders are arranged between the partitions, their diameter being smaller than or equal to the diameter of the base of the partition above the cylinder. Condensate header is arranged below the casing bottom to communicate with the pipe inner space, the pipe representing a taper coil widening towards the casing bottom.
EFFECT: higher degree on removal of condensate and mechanical impurities from condensate-containing gas.
