FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to part grippers which are designed for press automation. The device contains beam made capable to be moved by actuator for part transportation, gripping facility and coupling unit. The gripping facility is intended for controlled gripping and releasing parts and is made in the form of sucking on spider. The coupling unit contains two half-couplings one of which is connected with the beam and the other - with gripping facility, and mechanical blocking device with manipulator made capable to be actuated by means of relative movement of coupling unit against stopper and unlocking the blocking device. The actuator contains regulating drive for moving sucking on spider in longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: providing automatic change of tooling equipment.
