SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal shelving for displaying goods and a method for assembling and disassembling it. Shelving comprises a post having engagement openings and lateral bores, a height-adjustable screw foot to be mounted on the bottom part of the post, a base resting on the ground with at least one height-adjustable foot at its distal end, comprising on its proximal end a pair of hooks and a pair of wings with bores, and a pin. Assembling between the post and the base occurs through the insertion of a pair of said hooks into said engagement openings of the post and with the insertion of said wings into engagement openings of the post. Said pair of hooks are downwardly opened and said hooks (12) are produced in a single piece with the open wings, and the two resulting pieces with hooks and wings are fixed on the sides of a vertical and linear body, forming the supporting front part of the base. Parts themselves are provided with respective horizontal extensions, inserted in the longitudinal cavities of the base and fixed to it through welding.
EFFECT: faster and safer assembly and disassembly of the shelving.
