FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to machines intended for mechanisation of works on wood cleavage, in particular, when using large diametre of hardwood timber as raw materials for manufacturing of wood chipboards and as fuel. Machine comprises splitting unit, power unit including cross beam mounted with the possibility of displacement in guides, two power and auxiliary hydraulic cylinders of plunger type joined to cross beam, tray and hydraulic drive of power units. Machine is equipped with power unit of impact action at cleaved wood, which is arranged in the form of rotary rod-balance mounted on metal structure installed on base with weight-striker and driving mechanism in the form of two power and auxiliary hydraulic cylinders of plunger type mounted on metal structure and installed vertically. Plungers of power hydraulic cylinders bear cross beam fixed on them, with which cross beam is joined, being connected by cable with rod-balance and installed with the possibility of displacement in vertical guides fixed on metal structure. Besides, power hydraulic cylinders are mounted with the possibility of deviation from vertical position with the help of pneumatic cylinders installed on metal structure and disconnection of cross beams as a result of this from their interaction, and their repeated connection into single unit with the help of guide thrusts mounted on metal structure with crank-type hinged-rod unit of their rotation into working and nonworking positions. In order to join to each other cross beams of hydraulic cylinders and rod-balance, the ropes that connect them are reeved through rope-declining units installed on metal structure. For interaction of splitting unit with wood, it is mounted with the possibility of displacement in guides fixed on base.

EFFECT: provision of high efficiency at low power inputs, and also higher reliability, as well as quite comparatively low pressure of working fluid for efficient operation of machine.
