FIELD: material transfer devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method designed to transfer sheets from stack or sheet stacks to be transferred to processing station. Proposed device comprises multiple separate-drive shafts mounted perpendicular to transfer direction in low-pressure chamber. At least one unloading element is located ahead of and at a distance from the nearest shaft to displace vertically. Previously mentioned element is linked up with the control device and to be controlled thereof. In sheets feed at least one unloading device displaces upwards when rear edge of fed sheet passes by the said unloading element to make a support for the next, the lowest sheet of the stack before the sheet fed comes off the next shaft. The shaft decelerates when the fed sheet rear edge comes off the shaft rolls.
EFFECT: high alignment of sheets fed at high feed rate.
