SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to cast iron composition. Cast iron contains components in the following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.2-2.4; silicon 0.03-0.05; chromium 0.03-0.05; vanadium 0.2-0.3; beryllium 0.003-0.005; cobalt 5.5-6.5; copper 0.3-0.4; aluminium 0.3-0.4; sodium 0.0001-0.0002; the rest is iron.
EFFECT: enhanced impact strength of cast iron.
