FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of magnet measurement equipment, in particular, to magnet navigation, magnetic exploration, magnetic mapping, etc, for measurement and compensation of magnetic noises of carriers or elimination of magnetic deviation of magnetic navigation compasses. Specified result is achieved by the fact that method provides for measurement of magnetic inductance vector projections to axes of reference system of coordinates in two selected areas of space with considerably different values of vertical component of geomagnetic field inductance vector with object absence, synchronous measurements of projections of resulting vector of magnetic inductance and turn angles at three different values with zero course angles and at low or zero angles of heeling and pitch in object located in specified areas of space, using specified values, Poisson parametres are identified, and then magnetic deviation is determined.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and expansion of technical resources for identification of magnetic deviation in heavy moving objects, higher accuracy of deviation identification with no necessity to carry out longitudinal and transverse heeling, and also identification of noises not only in motion but also in static - standing position of object, without application of expensive rotary nonmagnetic stands.
