FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ignition system of conventional engines. Vortex electrode of sparking plug of internal combustion engine, containing flat sidewall electrode, implemented of temperature-resistant electroconductive material, hardly fixed by basis at one side to external electroconductive casing of sparking plug. End portion of sidewall electrode is bended L-shaped to point center electrode. Mechanical contact between center and sidewall electrodes is absent and clearance between them is minimal. Plane of sidewall electrode by length is twisted around longitudinal axis clockwise or anticlockwise for angle 180°. End portion is twisted relative to basis.
EFFECT: improvement of mixture formation in area of electrode and decreasing of snuff on sparking plug.
