SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method for reproduction of video data, and more precisely, to method for reproduction of video data and hypertext data. Method for reproduction of video data from information carrier, on which video data and hypertext data are recorded in the area of programs, and information of video-conversion is recorded in the area of navigation data, besides, video data are coded by method that differs from original one, and information of video-conversion must be used for decoding of video data into their original condition, includes stages, at which the following takes place: (a) video data and hypertext data are read from area of programs, (b) video-conversion information is read from area of navigation data, (c) video data is decoded with the help of video-conversion information, (d) hypertext data is decoded and (e) decoded hypertext data and decoded video data are mixed, and result of mixing is displayed on display device, besides, video data and hypertext data are displayed in their original state.
EFFECT: provision of actually method and device for correct reproduction of video data and data with hypertext, even if video data was repeatedly coded by another method and recorded.
