FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: end milling cutter is arranged perpendicular to generating line of the screw peripheral surface and receives independent rotation about central axis, while screw workpiece receives rotary motion matching the mill cutter longitudinal feed and cutting feed per each longitudinal pass. Note here that end cutting mill with tapered shank is used with its end face radial slots housing cutters with mating shape. The said cutters have cutting blades made in hard alloy to interact with damping element. The latter represents ring-like corrugated spring. The number of ledges of the latter equals that of the milling cutter tools. Note also that cutting tools are fixed in the milling cutter body by the plate and damping element.
