FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: milling cutter represents an end tapered-shank milling cutter. Note here that end cutting mill has with its end face furnished with radial slots to house cutters with mating shape. The said cutters have cutting blades made in hard alloy to interact with damping element. The latter represents ring-like corrugated spring. The number of ledges of the latter equals that of the milling cutter tools. Note also that cutting tools are fixed in the milling cutter body by the plate and damping element.
