FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for protection of separated stages of ballistic rockets, man-made satellites of Earth, descent modules. Method provides for application of heat insulated screens set, which are cooled down to various temperatures. These screens are serially dropped so that to provide for minimum heat contrast both relative to environmental background and underlaying surface at different sections of flight trajectory. The last screen is dropped after space object enters dense beds of atmosphere, after plasma glowing of its surface disappears.
EFFECT: improved reliability of space object protection in the whole trajectory of its flight and expansion of the possible application field.
