FIELD: physics, measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for measurement of gas flow rate transported in gas lines, including main ones. Narrowing device includes cylindrical body with slot, in which metering diaphragm is installed, stepped flange with cylindrical bore that enters cylindrical bore arranged on one side of body to provide split joint with body. Outside slot in body is covered with cover piece, and at the bottom - by cover with sealing arranged inside body with the possibility of displacement along circumference, which is limited by stop installed inside body. End of flange is equipped with location bed in the form of two axisymmetric half-rings that align metering diaphragm pressed to flange by pins. Cover with sealing and cover piece are aligned with help of spacer installed in body slot and having shape of half-ring, and are pressed by pins.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurement, and also operational safety.
