FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices which provide for quality treatment of crops with pesticides, particularly to a pneumatic method of depositing mono-dispersed droplets of pesticide solutions, made by a disc-shaped sprayer, onto stalks and leaves of plants. An air stream is directed along a ring at an acute angle to the direction of escape of droplets from the edge of the disc, and the air-droplet stream in horizontal sections has the shape of a ring, which increases moving way from the disc. When treating plants with pesticide solutions, the quality of covering plants improves due to longer transportation distance of droplets by the air stream on the horizontal and increase in probability of their encountering a large number of stalks and leaves.
EFFECT: significant reduction of air input per unit treated area.
