SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spring mattress containing springs with covers. The spring mattress contains many rows joined side by side with each other. Each row contains many continuous covers and coil springs placed in them. Covered parts placed on ends of the springs are made with the possibility of being moved towards each other through springs and mutually joined by a joining unit. A notch is made in at least one of the rows between at least some springs. The notch is opened towards upper or bottom side of the mattress.
EFFECT: production of mattress with less springs without losing degree of comfort.
