SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry, namely, to practical implementation of elastic internal units for mattresses, and provides the increase of degree of recovery of the functional state of the user's muscles during its sleep. The spring module for mattress comprises a central part and a peripheral part covering it along its perimetre which is formed as a chain of cylindrical springs of the first rigidity. The central part of the module comprises staggered relative to each other main inserts, each of which forms a local area with high rigidity surrounded by an annular zone with lower rigidity. The main inserts are placed in the cavities formed by parts of the chain of cylindrical springs of the first rigidity located along wavy lines located nearby, shifted relative to each other in the longitudinal direction by half of their period. The cavities for the main inserts are located in an alternating sequence with the places of interconnection of the above-mentioned parts of the chain of cylindrical springs of the first rigidity, and the places of connection form local areas with high rigidity distributed throughout the central part of the module. The chain of cylindrical springs of the first rigidity nearest to the central part of the module is connected to the located in its central part of the chain of cylindrical springs of the first rigidity in areas of mutual contact of their folded side surfaces, and the above-mentioned areas of mutual contact of side surfaces are located in an alternating sequence with cavities where the additional inserts are placed.
