FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment and covers oral care. An oral care apparatus comprises as follows: a handle provided with a contact electrode for a user's hand, a brush head extending from the handle having a bristle placed inside of the user's oral cavity. Said brush head has a brush electrode mounted nearby the bristle and ensuring electric contact to parts or substances within oral cavity, and a power source in the handle generating a potential difference of the contact electrode and the brush electrode. The contact electrode is made of nonmetal material filled with carbon fibres and integrated with the handle. The handle has a water-proof internal space wherein there is a power source with terminals respectively for electric compound to the brush electrode and the contact electrode. The contact electrode consists of a nonconducting base wherein carbon fibres are dispersed, and electrically connected with one proper terminal by electroconductive glue or a screw from the contact electrode to the terminal.

EFFECT: eliminated metal ion corrosion or rust in contact with the user's hand, and stable current feed.
