FIELD: oil-and-gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a decorative or protective element, authentication or identification element. A method is described for modifying optical properties of polymerisable or polymerised chiral liquid-crystals, involving the following stages: i) depositing the first layer of polymerisable or curable chiral liquid-crystal material onto a carrier, ii) partial or complete polymerisation or hardening of the said first layer, iii) depositing another layer, consisting of extracting media, containing dyes and/or pigments, which absorb light in the visible or invisible regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, on the partially or completely polymerised or hardened first liquid-crystal layer using a printing method and iv) if necessary, complete polymerisation or hardening of the liquid-crystal and/or additional layers. The liquid-crystal film and printing product obtained using this method is described, as well as their use.
EFFECT: method allows for irreversible depositing different information into a liquid-crystal layer through extraction, increase in rate of diffusion of substances from the liquid-crystal layer to the extracting agent.
