FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: layer or pattern of a chiral liquid crystal polymer (CLCP) are described, comprising randomly distributed craters having controlled number-average diameter and/or density. Said density and/or number-average diameter of the craters can be controlled, for example, by adjusting the wetting of the substrate with the composition of the precursor of CLCP, the development time of the structure of the precursor composition, and the thickness of the applied precursor composition.
EFFECT: layer or pattern from the CLCP, including craters distributed randomly are proposed.
