FIELD: oil-and-gas production.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measurement of a temperature parametre, comparison the actual temperature parametre with a given parametre and, depending on the difference value, reduction of this value by changing flow of fuel to burners of the corresponding section coil pipe of the furnace. The temperature parametre used is the temperature profile along the coil pipe and the given temperature profile for each section of the coil pipe is calculated using the formula where t - is relative temperature along the coil pipe, %; k- raw material conversion (gas + petrol), % per raw material; L - is the effective length of the coil pipe from its beginning to the ith point of measurement, % of the total length of the coil pipe of the furnace; α - is a coefficient of the formula; j - a coefficient index.
EFFECT: reduced coking of the coil pipe of the furnace and longer time between repairs of the installation, of which the furnace is a component part.
