FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: tube furnace includes a tubular housing with convection and radiation chambers, in which convective and radiant coils and burners installed at the furnace bottom are arranged; radiant coil is made of vertical tubes; diameter of a downtake pipe is by 1.15-1.3 times more than the similar property of a riser; at that, diameters of upper and lower connecting taps (return bends) are equal to the diameter of the downtake pipe and the riser respectively and connected to each other by means of conical adapters.
EFFECT: positive difference of diameters of vertical downtake pipes and risers allows intensifying heat and mass exchange processes, selectiveness of raw material conversion and reducing the probability of coking of the furnace coil and enlarging the time between repairs of the furnace.
