FIELD: textile, paper.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paper production and can be used together with pressing fabric in the press section of the pressing paper-making machine. The device for reducing the degree of paper sheet rewetting in the press section contains pressing fabric for moving sheet, press for pressing fabric and displacing water from the sheet to pressing fabric, and means for applying displacing agent over pressing fabric which can be reused. Fabric, paper sheet and displacing agent are pressed together on the pressing area. The displacing agent absorbs water from a boundary surface at the output from the press and prevents rewetting of the sheet.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of pressing fabrics and drying are ensured.
