SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to press fabric for imparting texture to a cellulose product and to a method for imparting texture to a cellulose product using such fabric. Press fabric comprises paper-making fabric having a contact side with a sheet and a machine side characterized by the presence of macro-cavities on the contact side with the sheet, wherein the depth of the macro-cavities is less than the width of the paper-making fabric, where the contact side with the sheet is adapted for contact with the cellulose product, and the macropores are the topographic feature of the contact side with the sheet, which is complementary to the required texture of the cellulose product, and wherein the press fabric having the macropores is configured to compress the cellulose product to reduce the degree of dryness in percent of the cellulose product exiting the press section, compared to the degree of dryness in percent of the cellulose product coming out of the press section on the press fabric without macropores.
