FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: lubricating device comprises oil pan (130) with casing (131) to retain oil therein and oil pan separator (132) arranged inside the pan to divide it into 1st chamber (30a) with its bottom accommodating oil filter (41) and 2nd chamber (30b) that embraces the former chamber. Oil pan separator (132) comprises inclined plate (132c) to catch oil forced back from cylinder block (20a) into oil pan (130). Portion of entrapped return oil is forced into 2nd chamber (30b) via communication orifice (132f) arranged in inclined plate (132c). Remaining entrapped oil passes into 1st chamber (30a) to allow oil level in 2nd chamber (30b) exceed that in 1st chamber (30a). With solenoid valve (133) opening at the end of heating cycle, oil staying in 2nd chamber comes therefrom into 1st chamber (30a). Invention covers design versions of oil pan.
EFFECT: accelerated oil heating.
