FIELD: illumination.
SUBSTANCE: illuminator has vertical wall with central, upper and lower parts with support. It comprises generator arranged inside the chamber formed by solid-fuel melting substance that burns in air oxygen along with wick arranged in aforesaid melting substance to produce heat and light. Aforesaid solid-fuel element represents a through vertical pipe or cup. Illuminator comprises also a wink, flame regulator. Wink is made from porous material fitted in melting substance of solid-fuel element. Aforesaid support has through hole communicating the solid-fuel cavity with ambient air. Flap is arranged on the support to close, completely or partially, the support through hole.
EFFECT: solid-fuel burning regulation, higher specific light and heat capacity.
