FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises two transceiving radiators of ultrasonic signals installed on pipeline, source of ultrasonic signals, two commutators, shaper of control signals, DAC, ADC, memory unit, unit of calculation of time for passage of ultrasonic signals in flow of controlled medium in pipeline, unit for calculation of time for passage of ultrasonic signals against flow and unit for calculation of volume flow of controlled medium. Unit for calculation of time for passage of ultrasonic signals along with and against flow carries out calculation of preliminary value of difference of time in passage of ultrasonic signals along with and against flow. Additional unit for calculation of difference in time for passage of ultrasonic signals along with and against flow carriers out calculation of specified value of difference in time for passage of ultrasonic signals along with and against the flow. High accuracy of volume flow detection is provided by invention also due to application of correlation method of measurement and due to high frequency of discretisation with the help of interpolators.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement.
