SUBSTANCE: invention is in the field of agriculture, particularly to nursery. Soft wood cuttings are rooted into seeding box holes using artificial substrate. The substrate consists of neutralised highbog peat coarse perlite and untreated dried stabilised sludge of municipal wastewater with keeping period of not more than 1 year. The mixture ratio is as follows: highbog peat 23-35 wt %, coarse perlite 25-35 wt %, dried stabilised sludge - 30-50 wt %.

EFFECT: invention increases rooting ability of softwood cuttings of difficult-to-reproduce bushes, their growing and establishment after outdoor transplanting and also increases unfavourable external hibernation factor resistance.
