FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and namely to orthopedics. The first adhesive plaster tape is fixed on the leg lateral surface. The tape is passed through the outer edge of the foot to plantar surface, divided into two equal parts near the inner edge of the foot, and those parts are crossed in the projection of neck of talus. One part of the tape is located on anteromedial surface, and the other one - on posteroexternal surface of the leg. The second adhesive plaster tape is fixed near the outer edge of the foot in the projection of the fifth metatarsophalangeal joint. The tape is divided into equal parts. One of the parts is moved in oblique cross direction along the back of the foot to the posterointernal surface of the leg. The other part is moved in oblique cross direction along the plantar surface through the middle of the inner edge of the foot with passing to the medial surface of the leg. The third adhesive plaster tape is fixed on the back surface of the leg in calcaneal region. The tape is divided into two equal parts, and those parts are crossed on the plantar surface of the foot. One of the parts is hitched across inner edge of the foot, and the other part - across outer edge to the back of the forefoot. The fourth adhesive plaster tape is fixed on the back of the forefoot. The tape is divided into two equal parts, and they are passed through outer and inner edges of the foot, and crossed in the centre of the plantar surface. Medial part of the tape is moved through outer edge of the foot to the lateral surface of calcaneal region, and the lateral part - through inner edge of the foot to medial surface of the calcaneal region.
EFFECT: method ensures controlled and dosed correction of elements of talipes valgus, reliable attachment of the achieved foot position within the long period of time.
