FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and is meant for intraoperative decrease of intraocular pressure till antiglaucomatous operation (AGO) of the patients having glaucoma is performed, not depending on the type and stage of disease. Cannula 25G is installed transconjunctivally in the eyeball membranes at the distance of 4 mm from the limb in lower external quadrant within the interval of 4 to 6 hours for oculus sinistra and 6 to 8 hours for oculus dextra. Then the inner end of cannula tube must be entered into the cavity of vitreous body. There performed is passive dosed removal of the front third of vitreous body from vitreal cavity under control of contact tonometry till normotony is achieved. Then intraocular pressure is measured in a contact way, and having fixed normalised intraocular pressure, the cannula tip is covered with a cover plate. After that antiglaucomatous operation is performed, and after it is completed, cannula is removed from eyeball membranes.
EFFECT: intraoperative stabilisation of eye hemodynamics and achieving normotonus till the main step of antiglaucomatous operation is performed, and reducing choroid complications and risk of vitreolens block.
