FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For prevention of complications after fistulizing surgery in the treatment of glaucoma, during the operation, 0.1–0.2 ml of viscoelastic DisCoVisc is injected into the anterior chamber until the level of the ophthalmotonous pressure is 22–24 mm Hg. After the completion of surgery, the level of ophthalmotonous pressure is assessed and the newly formed outflow pathways are monitored, including indicators of the intrascleral canal, scan and filtering bleb using ultrasound biomicroscopy data. At the level of intraocular pressure of 20 mm Hg. and above, laser suturolysis is performed using laser energy of 300–380 mV with a spot diameter of 50 microns, with a laser application exposure time of 0.5 sec.
EFFECT: method ensures the achievement of a hypotensive effect and consistent ways of an outflow, as well as the elimination of intraoperative intraocular pressure drop and onset of ciliochoroidal detachment.
