SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and namely to urology. Method involves interstitial electric stimulation by using needle and skin electrodes. Needle electrode-anode is introduced hypodermally at the level of the gap between acanthas of IInd and IIIrd sacral vertebras. Skin electrode-cathode is located on the lower third of the back hip surface of the like side. Action of electric current is performed during 12 min. Then needle electrode-anode is introduced hypodermally between acanthas of IInd and IIIrd sacral vertebras of the opposite side. Skin electrode-cathode is located on the lower third of the back hip surface of the like side. Action of electric current is performed during 12 min. Treatment course consists of 10 sessions performed every day.

EFFECT: method decreases the volume of prostate gland, prolapse of its basal part into bladder cavity and decreases the volume of residual urine.
