FIELD: process engineering, food industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises drilling the holes on centrifugal milk separator plate tapered surfaces at one distance from the drum rotational axis that make one group of vertical axisymmetric channels where through processed solution is fed. Note here that two groups of holes are drilled on both packs of plates at two different distances from the drum rotational axes that make two groups of vertical axisymmetric channels. Note here also that, with breaking mechanism thrown out, one group of aforesaid channels is cut in operation by turning additional plate holder relative to main plate holder through the angle that aligns the holes of both packs of the group in question, and feed channels of the other group cut off the solution flow. Mind that main plate pack is locked relative to additional one with the help of locating screw fitted in through threaded hole of the separating plate top cylindrical part and passing into one of radial dead holes made in upper part of vertical hollow rotary shaft. Note that the locating screw position relative to every radial dead hole ensures cutting feed channels of any group in operation depending upon volume fraction of the solution light component.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher quality of separation.
