SELF-STABILISING WINGED SURFACE EFFECT VEHICLE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B60V1/08

Abstract RU 2368522 C2

FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: winged surface effect vehicle has layout pattern "Reverse duck", fuselage and composite wing with cantilevers and with center wing section. On upper surface of wing there are gas-turbine engines, and at cantilever ends - two vertical tails with rudders. Front edge of center wing section and cantilevers in plan has shape of parabola, back edge of center wing section is straight, and back edge of cantilevers is arrow-shaped. Engines are installed in place of center wing section and cantilevers junction and are partially deepened in upper surface of wing. Center of masses of airfoil boat is located between centers of pressure of center wing section and cantilevers so that ratios and divide area of these parametres value into zone of stable values (on the right from curve) and zone of unstable values (on the left from curve), values and , which lie on the right from curve, provide longitudinal stability for center wing section at all elevations above section and at a distance from section. It is reasonable to have static air cushion under fuselage with air from additional engine inside fuselage, which serves as drive of hydrojet plant. Reactive jet of engines in point of center wing section and cantilevers junction may be used to create jet wing flaps at center wing section and jet alievators at cantilevers of center wing section. They eject air from surface of center wing section and cantilevers. Tails on external ends of cantilevers may diverge by angle from vertical position. For transportation of large outsized weights on upper surface of fuselage, center wing section and cantilevers, it is reasonable to have units for fixation of weights.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety of center wing section flight, to considerably increase aerodynamic quality of the whole structure and to expand sphere of their application.
