FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes leaching with formation of liquid and solid phases. Leaching is implemented in acid environment at presence of reducer for turning of hexavalent chrome in solution into trivalent chrome. Then value of pH is increased up to value, whereby it is formed solid chrome hydroxide. During leaching pH is carried up to 1-6.5, preferentially up to about 4. In the capacity of reducer it is used reducer, containing thiosulfate ions, or zinc. Received material, rendered by this method is suitable for manufacturing of refractory products.
EFFECT: absence the necessity for temperature increase and productivity improvement of process.
