FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: before extraction of noble metals by electrolysis into thiocarbamide solutions there are introduced thiocyanate-ions in amount 0.3-0.5 mole per liter of solution. Extraction of noble metals is implemented on cathodes from carbonic fibrous material, for instance from activated nonwoven fabric, allowing highly developed surface. Best values of current density at electro-extraction of gold and silver are, correspondingly, 250-300 and 500-600 A/m2. Time of electrolysis 1.5-2 hours.
EFFECT: high rates of extraction of noble metals and essential reduction of electrolysis process life.
