FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals; applicable in electrochemical recovery of noble metals from hydrochloric acid solution. SUBSTANCE: initial solution of hydrochloric acid containing noble metals is circulated with rate of 1-1.5 cu.m/sq.m.h in cathode chamber of electrolyzer with cation-exchange membranes. Deposition is carried out on titanium cathode with current density of 200-300 A/sq.m. Then solution is directed to cathode chamber with three-dimensional flow cathode made of graphite material. Deposition is carried out at overall dimension current density of 20-60 A/sq.m and catholyte circulation rate of 2-3.5 cu. m/sq. m. h. Anolyte is 5-10-% solution of hydrochloric acid. Three-dimensional cathode after saturation is regenerated with mixture of 6M hydrochloric acid and 1M nitric acid. Method is ecologically safe and applicable in treatment of solutions with any concentration of noble metals. EFFECT: higher recovery of noble metals with their low residual content and high economic efficiency. 3 cl
