FIELD: engine and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system is intended for aircraft gas turbine engines. Low-pressure pump represents a centrifugal gear-type pump to allow increased filling space between teeth, elimination of cavitation and fuel feed failure. Pump gear journal cavities communicate with high-pressure pump outlet via fuel fine filter to ensure filtered fuel getting into aforesaid cavities. Constant-pressure valve should be arranged at the filtered fuel feed channel to have pressure inside aforesaid cavities exceeding that at the pump outlet.
EFFECT: faultless operation at fuel lower pressures and bubbling in inlet lines.
