FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of hydrogen concentration measurement and may be used to make gas analysers of explosive hydrogen concentrations in space engineering, motor industry, chemical industry, etc. Technical result is provided by the fact that detector comprises control reservoir with liquid mark and is equipped with optical element for fixation of mark optical image and its transformation into electric signal. According to invention, detector is additionally equipped with thermochemical module with hydrogen-sensitive substance with exothermic response, which is connected to control reservoir, along length of which at least two optical elements are installed, which are connected to indicator device, and liquid mark used is non-transparent liquid with high coefficient of volumetric expansion.
EFFECT: creation of compact detector, which has no electric connections, and its higher efficiency in detection of explosive hydrogen concentrations.
