FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of beverage on the basis of vegetable raw materials provides for cleaning of raw material, its softening by soaking to produce water suspension. Millet milled till powdery condition preliminary saturated by beet root or carrot juice, processed with water vapour and dried till moisture content 1-5% is used as raw material.
EFFECT: method provides for obtaining of puddle beverage of light-brown or light-violet colour, beverage is enriched with proteins (about 12 g of protein in 100 g of dry product), sugar and contains carotene, C vitamin, mineral salts of kalium, natrium and phosphor; beverage has no bitter taste.
