FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: iron pentacarbonyl is evaporated in vaporiser and is supplied into decomposition device via inlet branch. Thermal decomposition of pentacarbonyl is carried out at presence of gaseous ammonia supplied through a gap around the inlet branch by parallel flow with relative rate to vapours of pentacarbonyl 0.2÷0.8.
EFFECT: expanded process functionality and upgraded consumer properties of marketable product.
