FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: system consists of onboard equipment, station equipment and service equipment, meant for functional testing, diagnosing and identifying defects onboard equipment and station equipment. The station equipment includes a control computer system, which controls underground conditions based on data, received from electric centralised devices through a data collection controller, provides for interaction with the onboard equipment and service equipment over a digital radio channel, controls maintenance of wireless communication with locomotives and controls movement of mobile units. The onboard equipment includes an onboard controller, display unit, control unit, switch unit, pulse sensors and a radio terminal, which receives information on the processor module of the onboard controller and exchanges information with a radio terminal, which is part of the station equipment and a radio terminal, which is part of the service equipment, with two-tier architecture.
EFFECT: higher degree of automation and efficiency of switching operations on railway stations.
