FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: method of organic modification of bentonite clay consists in processing of bentonite clay with surface-active compounds with quaternary nitrogen atoms. As surface-active compound, there used are guanidine-bearing salts: diallylguanidineacetate, diallylguanidinetrifluoracetate, methacrylateguanidine or acrylateguanidine.
EFFECT: invention allows obtaining organic clays by using available raw material, simplifying modification process and giving biocidal properties to bentonite clay.
