SUBSTANCE: invention relates to knitting techniques. Warp knitting of tuck stitches comprises odd and even wales formed by different thread systems and connected by running-ons, thus a stitch is passed through the stitch of the previous course of its wale and the running-on of the adjacent wale. Each double stitch has four underlaps, the two underlaps connect the stitch with the stitches of the previous and next courses, the other two make a running-on in the form of a closed loop through which the stitches and running-on of the adjacent wale are passed. The method of tuck stitch warp knitting implies forming the wale two looping cycles before by making stitches and running-ons at odd and even needles of a warp knitting machine in turn. In each looping cycle the thread is laid by a separate guide bar with partial draft of the eyes by threads next but one as follows: firstly each thread is laid simultaneously on two adjacent needles. Then the thread is again laid on the needle from which the above simultaneous laying started; afterwards stitches are formed at the needles with double threading and the running-ons - at the needles with singular threading.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides for the approximation of physical and mechanical properties of a knitted cloth at its length and width due to the formation of the stitch structure of the knitted wale connections analogous to the structure of its course connections.
